Description | **As of April 6,2023 project was awarded to Lewis Equipment Services LLC, awarded amount is $168 596.37.** Demolition of Four (4) Existing Restroom Facilities: The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to select a qualified firm for the complete demolition of four (4) existing restroom buildings and to prepare the site for the replacement of new set-in-place restroom buildings at Davis Camp Park, on behalf of the Public Works - Parks Division. The property address is 2251 AZ-68, Bullhead City, AZ 86429. 1.1. Demolish existing restrooms and haul off-site, along with any debris and/or trash currently on the property. Prepare locations for four (4) new set-in-place restroom buildings in accordance with all applicable Code requirements. 1.1.1. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining the required permit(s). 1.1.2. Transportation and disposal of all demolition debris and/or trash to an approved disposal site shall be included in the removal cost. 1.1.3. The Contractor shall make every effort to protect the work site and all adjacent properties during all required demolition and replacement activities. 1.1.4. All damage occurring during the completion of the Work shall be immediately reported to the County's Designated Representative and shall be corrected and repaired immediately by the Contractor. 1.1.5. Disconnect, remove or relocate material, equipment, plumbing fixtures, piping and other work noted and required by removal in existing construction. 1.1.6. Throwing breakers or closing valves is not an acceptable method of abandonment. Terminate electrical conductors inside a junction box using wire nuts on each conductor. Plug or cap active piping or ductwork behind or below finish. Do not leave long dead end branches. Cap or plug as close as possible to active line. Remove unused piping, conduit and/or duct work. 1.1.7. Dispose of removed construction materials, fixtures and equipment as directed in compliance with regulations.
