| Description | 1. work includes selective roof replacement at steep slope and low slope roof areas as designated on the drawings. 2. Steep slope roof replacement includes roof replacement of the asphalt shingle roof system on down to the existing roof deck for approximately 325 squares (32,500 square feet). Roof replacement includes roof deck replacement/repairs and installation of a new architectural laminated asphalt shingle system. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly are required. 3. Low slope roof replacement includes roof replacement down to the existing roof deck for approximately 5 squares (500 square feet). Roof replacement includes roof deck replacement/repairs, new roof insulation, including taper insulation, and new installation of a fully adhered thermoplastic PVC / KEE roof assembly. Separation sheet / substrate to be provided at terminations to provide separation from bitumen products prior to adhering the PVC / KEE roof and flashing assemblies. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly are required. |
