Virgin River Pumphouse Renovation

The Work consists of the following: 1. Maintenance, upgrades, improvements or replacement of the water system that serves the campgrounds, and abandonment of water system components serving the former rest area. 2. Selective demolition of water pumping system components, electrical and mechanical equipment located within both the Lower Pump house and the Upper Pump house. 3. Rehabilitation of the water supply well located adjacent to the lower pump house, and furnish and install new pump, motor and downhole equipment. 4. Installation of new variable speed electrical drive unit for the well pump, installation of water process piping, new lighting, and limited mechanical and electrical service equipment within the Lower Pump house. 5. Furnish and install two (2) new pump package units to provide constant pressure to the campground at the Upper Pump House. Also provide related new process piping, new lighting, and limited mechanical and electrical service equipment within the Upper Pump house. 6. Rehabilitation of the two (2) water storage tanks located at the Upper Pump house including complete repainting. 7. Limited new buried piping in the yard areas at both the Upper and Lower pump houses. 8. Furnish and install a control system, with radio telemetry, to measure water level in the storage tank and the Upper Pump house and radio start/stop signals to the Lower pump house to control the well pump.
