2023 Water Meter Replacement

As of June 12, 2023, awarded to Milbank Winwater Works Company of St. Louis Park, MN for $1,424,330.50. The water meter replacement project is anticipated to start in late September of this year with substantial completion by May 31, 2024. 2023 Water Meter Replacement Project No. 2021-C04 In general and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, the work consists of the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction and installation of a City-wide, multi-year water meter replacement project. The project will include a multi-year contract to furnish Mueller brand replacement equipment and install this equipment as replacement to the majority of the water meters throughout the City: 3277 each 5/8 x 3/4-Inch Mueller Ultrasonic Meter 1 each 1-Inch Mueller Ultrasonic Meter 3 each 1-1/2-Inch Mueller Ultrasonic Meter 54 each 2-inch Mueller Ultrasonic Meter 12 each 3-inch Mueller HB MAG Meter 1 each 4-inch Mueller HB MAG Meter 6 each 4-inch Mueller HB MAG Meter 1 each - LS LoRaWAN AMI Fixed Network Reading System Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the instructions to Bidders The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
