C-23 South Reservoir, Overwater Borings

Description of Requirement: The C-23 South Reservoir Project is located in western St. Lucie County, Florida, immediately south of State Road 70 (Okeechobee Road; see Plate 1 in PWS). The South Reservoir project site consists of former citrus groves and cattle grazing lands. An Aboveground Water Storage earthen embankment structure is located within the southern portion of the South Reservoir project footprint. Irrigation canals and fencing are located through a majority of the project site. Some low, wooded areas are also present. Overgrown tree and shrub-type vegetation, as well as tall grasses, are present within most areas of the project footprint. Borings will be obtained in submerged lands, so will require a marsh buggy/tracked vehicle as the drilling platform. Daily transport to and from the drilling platform will be by airboat.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
