Description | The work involved with this project shall not be allowed to occur between June 1 and September 30. The Contractor shall not commence the work to be performed until on or after October 1, 2022. The contractor must provide documents to demonstrate three (3) similar projects within the past ten (10) years to be considered. The work to be performed within 30 working days from the date of commencement under this contract shall include, but not be limited to: o Removal and replacement of greensand filter media (anthracite, greensand, and support gravel) in three existing greensand filter tanks oRemoval and replacement of granular activated carbon (GAC) media in three existing GAC confactors o Disposal ofspent media Should you require further assistance, contact Builder Exchange ofWashington at (425) 258-1303. Bidders are not to contact the City of Renton or the Engineer to obtain bidding documents The City of Renton in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 1J.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office ofthe Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted programs of the Department ofTransportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
