Civil Engineer Retainer

Civil engineering services on a retainer basis. The University has a target of five (5) firms to be selected, but reserves the right to award more or fewer based on the qualifications of the submitting firms. Selected firms will be awarded an initial one-year agreement (beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022). Each agreement will have the option for one (1) two-year renewal. The total term with the ability to renew will end at June 30, 2024. At the renewal, there will be an opportunity to make adjustments in the scheduled hourly rates. Civil Engineering Services required under this contract include, but are not limited to: land surveying, topographic and utility site surveying, environmental engineering, building demolitions, geotechnical and foundation engineering, hydrology and hydraulic engineering, engineering analysis, planning and design of sanitary sewer systems, storm water systems, water distribution systems, green infrastructure, low impact development (LID), traffic control, signage, roads and streets, parking lots, and other site and/or civil infrastructure improvements. The Professional Services Consultant should have access to consulting resources that provide diverse experience and expertise to include but not necessarily be limited to incidental architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and hazardous material remediation as may be necessary to successfully complete each Civil Engineering Retainer project.
