Description | The Nashua School District (NSD) invites proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide surveys, testing, work plans and monitoring for the handling of all hazardous waste materials that may be encountered during the renovations of Birch Hill and Main Dunstable Elementary Schools. It is anticipated that the school's renovations, will be conducted in multiple phases, commencing in late Spring 2023 and running through the Fall of 2024. Specific scheduling of the abatement contractors and monitoring consultants must be coordinated with the Nashua School District and the project's construction manager, Harvey Construction. Both elementary schools were constructed in 1972 and last renovated in 1993. They are approximately 65,000 square feet each and house grades K-5. These renovations will be conducted concurrently (both schools at the same time) and in occupied mode (e.g., work being done during the school year), in addition to work during school vacation periods. The qualified firm will use inspectors and project designers licensed to practice in New Hampshire. In addition, prospective firms must meet the following standards as they relate to this request: 1. Have the adequate financial resources or have the ability to obtain such resources as required for the performance of all services. 2. Have the necessary experience, organization, technical and professional qualifications, skills and facilities. 3. Be able to comply with the proposed or required time of completion or performance schedule. 4. Have a demonstrated satisfactory record of performance. 5. Provide documentation of adequate insurance coverage. Proposals for this work will briefly address each of the above standards. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. |
