Michael's Diner Roof Replacement

The Scope of Work shall include but is not limited to: 1. Relocation of two existing satellite dishes onto the inside of the screen wall frame and subsequent removal of the cinder block ballast assemblies for each. Coordinate with satellite service provider to align and maintain service. Service must be maintained throughout the project. 2. Removal of existing roofing down to the existing lightweight concrete deck and replace with new modified bituminous roofing system with reflective (light grey) coating. 3. Removal of two existing roof top HVAC units and replacement of each, per the drawings supplied. Maintain one unit in operation at all times. 4. Removal of the abandoned exhaust duct at the rear of the building. Patch the penetration through the roof. 5. The diner will stay in operation continuously during the project. Phase the work accordingly. 6. Remove the existing gas line and replace with new. 7. Provide new flashing around all roof penetrations, curbs, roof edge, and screen wall posts. 8. This work must be completed with a minimal duration. Roof removal should not commence until the HVAC units have been received by the contractor. Close coordination between the roofing and mechanical contactor is required. Present the plan per Section 013200 “Schedules and Reports”.
