Replacement of Distribution Poles on NC-43

Questions regarding this Request for Bid (RFB) should be received by or before 2:00 pm, January 13, 2023. All hardware and insulators needed to complete each structure will be replaced. Greenville Utilities Commission will furnish all distribution materials required for the construction unless otherwise noted in this specification. The proposal submitted by the contractor shall include all labor, equipment, and all other necessary items to complete this project. This Specification covers the installation, removal, transfers, and materials of 155 distribution structures along NC-43. Old distribution structures along NC-43 will be replaced with new poles. The existing structures will be removed. All transfers are the responsibility of the contractor. Existing conductors will be attached to new poles. All hardware and insulators will be replaced. The proposal submitted by the contractor shall include all labor, equipment, and all other necessary items to complete this project.
