Description | The work consists of replacing the current dehumidification units, fabric ductwork including site, structural and electrical work to support the new dehumidification units. This project is funded in part or in whole by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Questions Due Date: Jul 27th 2023, 2:00 PM EDT 70732.11, 3747802 Section includes a factory-assembled, fully-enclosed pool environmental control unit with energy recovery features designed for natatorium environmental control. System shall be installed, started, and commissioned by manufacturer's representative. The unit shall have the following features: 1. Dehumidification by means of a direct expansion evaporator coil. 2. Space heating by means of a packaged hot water coil. 3. Cooling mode with heat rejection to a remote outdoor air cooled fluid cooler (dry-cooler). Piping connection between dehumidifier and dry cooler, start-up, and fill with glycol shall performed by manufacturer. 4. No field refrigeration work shall be required. Substituting an outdoor condenser and increasing the refrigerant charge grows the owner's long-term liability and will not be allowed. 5. Pool water heating from reclaimed compressor waste heat by means of a full flow titanium heat exchanger. 6. Packaged minimum exhaust fan and purge fan with economizer mode. 7. Integral minimum outdoor air connection. 8. Integral purge outdoor air connection with economizer mode. 9. Heat recovery by means of a glycol run-around loop between the minimum exhaust and minimum outdoor air streams. 10. Convenience outlet and light included factory mounted in control cabinet, powered and wired separately |
