Description | HUB Goal: 100%. The AZ NP GRCA 272(1), Mather Point Campground Loops project is located in Grand Canyon Village approximately 22 miles west of the Grand Canyon East Entrance in Coconino County, AZ. The project is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) campground roads and campsite parking stalls at the Mather Point Campground within the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The project is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) approximately 2.37 miles of campground roads along with several campsite parking stalls. The roads and parking stalls need rehabilitation due to deterioration that is typical of aging pavements. The existing pavement within the Mather Point Campground is paved and in poor condition with roadway cracking and aggregate surfacing. Schedule A work for this project includes Juniper Loops 1 & 2, Maple Loop, and Oak Loops 1 & 2, for an approximate length of 1.51 miles. Option Y includes Pine Loop for an approximate length of 0.47 miles. Option Z includes Sage Loops 1, 2, 3, & 4 for an approximate length of 0.39 miles. |
