Description | **As of September 1 2022, no bidders for the project. The estimated cost of the project is $205,000. The Project includes the following Work: Removing and replacing concrete sidewalk and related work along several streets within the City of Caro. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 17,000 Sft Concrete Sidewalk Replacement Bids will be received for a single prime Contract: 2022 Sidewalk Replacement Project, 22L0074 Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. City of Caro, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner. Plans and specifications will not be mailed/e-mailed until payment is received. The non-refundable fee shall be by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover accepted) or in check form and shall be drawn payable to ROWE Professional Services Company. The Engineer's addressis ROWE Professional Services Company, 128 N. Saginaw Street, Lapeer, MI 48446 and the telephone number is (810) 664-9411. Bids submitted on forms obtained anywhere besides the office of ROWE Professional Services Company will not be accepted. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Contractor shall pay Owner $100 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified above for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete.
