Marina Inlet Culvert Replacement - Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources

As of March 16, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: NATURAL RESOURCES - HIGH CLIFF STATE PARK This project replaces the existing culvert, approximately 120' long and 12' diameter, connecting the outlet of Butterfly Pond to the marina. The culvert passes under the sole access road to the public boat launch and marina providing access to roughly 2/3 of the marina boat slips. Temporary vehicle access to the area needs to be constructed to maintain access to the boat launch and marina. Lower Cliff Road, was a through street but is now blocked off to motor vehicles, is the best option for temporary access to the area. After construction, the Lower Cliff Road obstruction should be reinstalled but altered to allow pedestrian and non-motorized vehicular access to the park.
