Design Build Services for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park South Shore ADA Improvements

The scope of the project is anticipated to include all survey, engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, specifications, public involvement, and construction to complete the design elements. Improvements are based around ADA improvements to the park. These include but are not limited to: •New restroom with shaded ADA accessible observation deck and concession serving area •New ADA walkways throughout the park which will function as a loop pathway and also connect to other external pedestrian infrastructure •New MLK Jr. Monument & Educational Kiosk -envisioned to utilize existing plaques •New shaded picnic areas •New Adaptive Water Ski Transition Areas at the water edge •New ADA accessible dock and fishing pier at existing the boat ramp •New site amenities •New landscaping •All demolition and site work needed to complete the above tasks •Tie ins and transitions in and around the newly renovated amphitheater and South Lake Silver Drive Complete Street Project currently underway will be necessary The current allocated funds for the project are $964,696 ($564,969 City + $200,000 FRDAP + $200,000 Legislative Appropriation) US dollars. Certain reporting and special requirements will be necessary. Design is anticipated to commence Fall 2020 followed by construction in Summer 2021 and completion by late 2021.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
