Description | Renovation of a residential development in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development. The Quincy Housing Authority, Quincy, Illinois will receive sealed bids as defined in the Construction Documents for Water Heater Replacement at 29TH & Broadway (IL 16-3); Architechnics, Inc. Project No. 6267. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Quincy Housing Authority, Quincy, Illinois, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in any amount equal to (5%) five per cent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance, Labor, Material and Payment Bond or Bonds. Deposits will be refunded in full, only to those contractors who submit a bona fide bid and to any plan holder who returns the bidding documents to the Architects office within ten (10) days following the bid opening date. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity. Section 3 low income residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications, and determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, must be paid on this Project. The Quincy Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) consecutive calendar days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Quincy Housing Authority. |
