Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** Remediate Existing Historic Swan River School House Foundation & Roof This is an invitation to submit a sealed bid for the furnishing of supplies, equipment and/or services subject to the terms and conditions and special instruction of this bid. Question Cutoff Date: 12/14/2022 04:30 PM (ET) Questions must be submitted in writing to the following e-mail: PurchasingGroup@brookhavenny.gov SITE The site of the Swan River School House Project is located at, 35 Roe Avenue, East Patchogue, New York 11772, Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York and more particularly shown on the Contract Drawings. SCOPE A. The work to be performed under this Contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals required to perform the proposed historic wood roof replacement with a new wood shingle roof, the replacement of original brick foundations with a new concrete footing and rat slab, removal of the existing wood floor assembly and replacement with new wood floor assembly, removal of the existing concrete ADA ramp and replacement with new wood ADA ramp, and miscellaneous plantings as indicated in the Specifications, shown on the Contract Drawings and/or as approved by the Owner. B. In general, the work shall include but not be limited to the following: o Remove existing wood roof o Install new wood roof and flashings, repair skip sheathing. o Raise/shore/underpin existing school house. o Remove existing concrete ADA ramp o Install new wood ADA ramp. o Remove existing floor includes, wood finish, wood deck and wood joist assembly. o Install new wood floor assembly. o Remove and salvage existing brick foundation. o Install new concrete foundations. o New plantings. C. Without restricting the generality of the foregoing and for the convenience of each Contractor, the items of work are specified under the Standard Divisions of the Construction SpecificationsInstitute.
