| Description | A. The Project is located along the right of ways of Floral, Deering and Cardwell Avenues, between Warren Road and dead end streets in the City of Westland, Michigan. B. Items of work and approximate quantities under the Contract consist of the following: 1. Remove approx. 1,000 square yards of existing pavement; 2. Remove (9) existing Gate Valve and Well; 3. Remove (9) existing Fire Hydrants; 4. Remove and Construct approx. 15,700 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S2, on 4 inch sand Base; 5. Construct approx. 650 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; 6. Construct approx. 300 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; 7. Construct approx. 85 square yards of 10 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 9 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; 8. Construct approx. 85 square yards of 2 inch HMA top (F), County mix; 9. Install approx. 100 feet of DI Water main via excavation method; size varies 6 inch to 8 inch in dia.; 10. Install approx. 3,900 feet of 8 inch Fusible PVC C900, DR18 via pipe bursting; 11. Construct (8) 8 inch valve in 5 ft dia. Well; 12. Install (10) 2- Storz connections Fire Hydrants and Hydrant Assemblies; 13. Reconnect approx. (143) water services; 14. Install (7) Inlet Filter; 15. All other related work; | ||
