Description | Remote Water Well Site: The work includes the construction of one (1) 250 gpm water well with foundation; onsite piping, valves, fittings, thrust blocks, pipe supports, pressure testing, and bacteriological testing; one (1) 125 kW diesel generator with sub-base fuel tank, grated walkway, and foundation; electrical and control work; protective coatings for all facilities; CMU site fencing; concrete pavement, slabs, and sidewalks; storm sewer system, drainage swale, and site grading; hydro-mulching seeding; and all additional items needed for a completely functional water well facility, as specified and as shown in the drawings. Offsite Raw Water Well Collection Line: The work includes the construction of approx. 970 linear feet (LF) of open-cut trench and 490 LF of trenchless construction 6-inch (6”) purple PVC (C-900) raw water well collection line including valves, fittings, thrust blocks, pressure testing, bacteriological testing, backfilling, grading, hydro-mulch seeding, and all additional items needed for a complete and operational water transmission line as specified and as shown in the drawings. Water Plant No. 1 Site: The work includes the construction of one (1) 80,000-gallon factory coated, flat panel, bolted steel ground storage tank with foundation; one (1) 10,000-gallon hydropneumatic tank with foundation; one (1) 400 gpm booster pump installed on existing booster pump station; onsite plant piping, valves, fittings, thrust blocks, pipe supports, pressure testing, and bacteriological testing; protective coatings for all facilities; one (1) pre-engineered FRP chemical storage building with foundation; two (2) sodium hypochlorite and one (1) corrosion inhibitor chemical feed systems including bulk storage tanks, pumps, piping, valves, and accessories; existing disinfection system modifications; concrete slab and sidewalks; electrical and control work; drainage swale and site grading; hydro-mulching seeding; and all additional items needed for a completely functional water plant facility, as specified and as shown in the drawings. |
