Description

As of December 21, 2022, this project was awarded to Carstensen Contracting, Inc in the amount of $5,104,510.50. The Project consists generally of the following scope of the Work. The scope of WORK consists of four (4) Bid Schedules. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract to one Contractor, if awarded, as any combination of one (1) or more Bid Schedules that is the most advantageous and in the best interest of the Owner. The project is located in McKenzie, Dunn, and Slope Counties of North Dakota. No pre-Bid conference is planned. Bid Schedule No. 1 generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 7 miles of 6"-3" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe; road crossings; restrained joint areas; pipeline crossings; (2) below grade prefabricated booster stations; connections to existing pipelines; and other related appurtenances in the New Hradec Service Area. Bid Schedule No. 2 generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 5.3 miles of 6"-3" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe and C900 gasketed joint PVC pipe; road crossings; restrained joint areas; pipeline crossings; (1) below grade prefabricated booster station; connections to existing pipelines; and other related appurtenances in the Killdeer Mountain Service Area. A Bid Alternate is included for this bid schedule to install 3.6 miles of 6" ASTM D2241 and C900 gasketed joint PVC pipe and associated appurtenances in lieu of 3.6 miles of 4" ASTM D2241 and C900 gasketed joint PVC pipe as shown in the base bid. Bid Schedule No. 3 generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2.9 miles of 4"-3" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe; restrained joint areas; (1) below grade prefabricated booster station; connections to existing pipelines; and other related appurtenances in the Twin Buttes Service Area. A Bid Alternate is included for this bid schedule to install 2.1 miles of 6" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe and associated appurtenances in lieu of 2.1 miles of 4" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe as shown in the base bid. Bid Schedule No. 4 generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2.7 miles of 3" ASTM D2241 gasketed joint PVC pipe; road crossings; restrained joint areas; pipeline crossings; (1) below grade prefabricated booster station; connections to existing pipelines; and other related appurtenances Fairfield Service Area. All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. The State of North Dakota, acting through the ND State Water Commission, reserves the right to award the Contract, if awarded, based on the lowest responsive Bid(s) that is in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner, to reject any and all Bids, to consider other factors in selecting the Bid which is in the best interest of the Owner, and to waive any and all irregularities in any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
