Gibson Pond Dam Replacement

1. Demolition and removal of all materials, to include concrete, lumber, and debris, associated with the existing dam and bridge; 2. Removal of abandoned gas line that runs along the downstream side of the existing spillway and dam 3. Excavation of overburden to expose competent rock surface 4. Cleaning and preparation of competent rock foundation surface 5. Construction of roller compacted concrete (RCC) or conventional concrete gravity dam structure 6. Construction of RCC or conventional concrete spillway sidewalls/training walls and non-overflow sections, to include ductile iron pipe low-level outlets 7. Construction of a reinforced concrete ogee crested spillway 8. Construction of reinforced concrete parapet 9. Installation of pedestrian bridge and fishing piers 10. Placement of rip-rap slope protection 11. Implementing and managing pollution control 12. Implementing and managing surface and ground water control measures 13. Permanent stabilization of disturbed areas.
