A non-mandatory pre bid meeting added for 6/29/23 at 2pm Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood LLC. PLEASE NOTE: The estimated value listed for this project is for searchability purposes only and does not reflect the actual construction budget as determined by the owner. It should not be used for estimation purposes at this time. The Project includes the following Work: Approx. 56,737 CY of unclassified excavation, 34,429 CY of borrow excavation, 34,300 SY of aggregate base, 22,710 tons of asphalt paving, and other miscellaneous items for roadway construction including striping, traffic control, drainage, signals, and erosion control items The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best and most responsible bidder. All bidders shall submit, upon request, a list of projects "successfully completed" in the last 2 years, having a similar scope of work and approximate construction cost as specified in this project. All bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. A cashier's check (drawn on an Alabama bank) or bid bond for 5% of the amount bid (maximum of $10,000) and made payable to the City of Oxford must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith.

Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
