Kingwood Windrow Water Line Replacement

KINGWOOD WINDROW WATER LINE REPLACEMENT consisting of approximately 16,450 L.F. of 16", 8" and 6" L.F. ductile iron water line, service reconnections, valves, fittings and related appurtenances as per plans and specifications. GENERAL The work to be accomplished under these Specifications consists of the furnishing of all materials, machinery, labor, equipment and services necessary for the construction of water line additions more particularly described elsewhere in the Specifications and shown on the Plans. LOCATION OF FACILITIES All proposed water lines shall be installed outside road rights-of-way on private property unless approved by the District. The CONTRACTOR shall perform all necessary clearing, staking, excavating, backfilling, grading, clean-up, restoration of damage to property, testing, etc., for the proper and complete installation of the system and restoration of the surface to its original condition. Approved Manufacturers with associated specification designations are listed in Appendix A of these specifications and are intended as District Standards.
