Description | The City of Mauldin is requesting proposals from qualified contractors/firms to provide labor, material, and equipment to add on to existing fencing at Sunset Park. Firms interested in providing the aforementioned services must prepare and submit a proposal in accordance with the Scope of Services. The City will review proposals only from those firms that include all of the information required to be included (in the sole judgment of the City). To be considered, interested parties should send one electronic (.pdf) version of a fully responsive proposal. Provide labor, material, and equipment to add fencing to the large soccer field at Sunset Park. All work shall be done to industry standards and comply with all City of Mauldin, State and Federal codes. 3.1. Demolition Any material removed and any other waste material shall be disposed of properly off site. 3.2. Specifications The Contractor is responsible to verify all measurements. Sunset Park is needing a fence to be furnished and installed with the following specifications: o Approximately, 981' of 4'h x 8ga Black Vinyl chain link fence o 1 5/8" top rail, 6ga tension wire, 2" line posts, 3" terminal posts and pipe to be ss40. o (4) 4'w walk gates o (1) 10'w double drive gate with hinges and fork latches o Take down approximately 178' LF of existing 4'h chain link and haul off o All new posts to be set into a concrete footer. 3.3. Sequencing of Operations o The Contractor is to schedule and limit operations in such a manner as to cause minimal disruption to use and operations of all facilities in the area. 3.4. Permits o All permits necessary for the prosecution of the work shall be secured by the Contractor. o Permits through the City of Mauldin are at no cost. o The Contractor shall give all notices and comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. 3.5. Material and Supplies o Unless specifically provided otherwise in each case, all material and supplies shall be furnished by the Contractor for permanent installation. o The work shall conform to applicable standard specifications. o No such material or supplies shall be used by the Contractor for any purpose other than that intended or specified, unless such use is specifically authorized by the City in each use |
