Pavement Asset Management Open End

Anticipated types of work assignments will be provided on a statewide level and may include but not be limited to the following: 1) Aid the Department in developing and updating Asset Management policies, practices, procedures, regulations, laws and business practices. 2) Research, develop, and implement options and tools for maintaining and increasing the capacity of the Asset Management program. 3) Develop presentations, metrics, and technical reports to PennDOT standards. 4) Aid the Department in the management of the Posted and Bonded Roads program by assisting in the development of policies, practices, procedures, regulations, laws and reporting needs. 5) Assist the Department in the development of pavement testing policies, practices, and procedures. 6) Assist with quality assurance evaluations other technical evaluations of Department pavement management projects and programs. The above items will generally be related to all types of pavement infrastructure management within PennDOT, but may also include other infrastructure related management, to include but not limited to, bridges, signs, and other Department assets. Assignments will generally be provided from PennDOT's Central Office, with limited supporting District operations at other specific locations. Some Work Orders under this Open End Agreement may require the Consultant to perform work at PennDOT's Central Office.
