Playground Equipment

As of August 9, 2022, project was awarded to Cunningham Recreation-MO, awarded amount is $318,854.27 The Playground is to be located at Creamery Park on the corner of S. Glade Road and E. Pennsylvania Ave. The Town is looking to replace the existing playground equipment with an inclusive playground for 2-12 year olds with a 75 person capacity in a 5076 square foot area. The park is partially funded by a LPPI grant. The Town of Walkersville is accepting quotations for: Removal of existing playground equipment Site work to prepare area for new equipment Playground Equipment Delivery Installation Woodcarpet playground surfacing Playground Equipment is to include at a minimum: Swing Arch with 2 tot swings, 2 belt swings, and basket swing Spaceball with slide Slide and Learn panel Tower climber Spiral Slide Funnel Tube Unity Steppers Wheelchair Ramp Unity Spinner with 2 ADA Seats Include with quotation: catalogs with quoted equipment indicated or product specification sheets, including size, capacity, age range recommended, quality, color options and area required. State all warranties on equipment. All equipment and layout must meet current applicable industry standards, including ADA, American Standard for Testing Materials (ASTM), Performance Specifications, and Consumer Product Safety Commission (C.P.S.C.) This Request for Quotation does not obligate the Town of Walkersville to make any purchase.
