Central Office Decoupling and Mechanical System Renovations

Furnish all labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to remove and properly dispose of asbestos-containing material. 1. Old Highway Building – 9970001: a. Remove approximately 120 linear ft. of asbestos-containing pipe TSI material (and associated elbows) from the penthouse mechanical room of this facility. b. Remove approximately 275 linear ft. of asbestos-containing pipe TSI material (and associated elbows) from above the ceiling of the 2nd Floor of this facility. c. Remove approximately 1750 ft2 of asbestos-containing duct sealant material from above the ceiling of the 2nd Floor of this facility. d. Remove approximately 250 ft2 of asbestos-containing duct sealant material from above the ceiling of the 1st Floor of this facility. e. Remove approximately 1250 ft2 of asbestos-containing duct sealant material from above the ceiling of the Basement of this facility. f. Remove approximately 3500 ft2 of asbestos-containing duct insulation material from the West, South, and East air shafts of this facility. g. Remove approximately 300 ft2 of asbestos-containing duct sealant material from the West, South, and East air shafts of this facility. 2. Annex Building – 9970102: a. Remove as needed to complete this project: asbestoscontaining duct insulation material from the basement mechanical room of this facility. b. Remove approximately 75 linear ft. of asbestos-containing pipe TSI material (and associated elbows) from inside the West entrance of the basement mechanical room of this facility. c. Remove approximately 125 linear ft. of abandoned asbestoscontaining pipe TSI material (and associated elbows) from the South wall of the basement mechanical room of this facility.
