| Description | The project scope of work includes street, landscape, traffic, and parkways improvements to Fort Blvd. from Justus St. to Copia St. The Fort Blvd. Improvements will consist of milling approximately 2,670 square yards of existing 2” thick asphalt pavement, removal of approximately 1,435 square yards of concrete sidewalks and appurtenances, demolition, removal, and disposal of approximately 1,500 feet of existing concrete curb and gutter, and header curb, the installation of approximately 1,085 square yards of flexible base, the installation of approximately 1,085 square yards of 8” scarified subbase, and the installation of approximately 1,085 square yards of 2” HMAC pavements. The project will also include the installation of approximately 1,600 feet of raised header concrete curb, installation of approximately 425 square yards of 6” reinforced concrete driveways, the installation of approximately 340 square yards of 4” concrete sidewalk, installation of approximately 220 feet of concrete stem wall, installation of 2 pedestrian signals, full video image detection system, 145 feet of electrical conductors, one ground box, 2 vehicle and pedestrian signal heads, approximately 330 feet of traffic signal cable, 2 traffic signal detectors, approximately 275 feet of conduit, ground boxes, and manholes, and approximately 35 feet of additional conduits. Moreover, the project will require the installation of approximately 4300 feet of 16”. 14”, and 4” of white and yellow stripping. The scope of work also includes the installation of landscape screening of several types, sizes, and colors, the installation of 20-4” caliper trees, 128-5 gal shrubs, 91-1 gal shrubs, along with a complete and fully operational irrigation system. |
