| Description | The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide equipment with experienced operators, skilled laborers, and foreman, to assist VDOT bridge crews to perform various bridge maintenance projects on an as needed basis. VDOT will provide oversight and direction on all work performed under the resulting contract. Work will be performed on primary, secondary, and interstate routes throughout the VDOT Hampton Roads District which covers Accomack, Greensville, Isle of Wight, Northampton, Southampton, James City, Surry, Sussex and York Counties and the Cities of: Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach. |
