| Description | This work consists of removing and replacing of approximately 1605 square feet of existing metal roof on the Sandia Helibase office. Existing Roof areas – 1605 SF., existing roof panel – PBU panel 26 ga. fastened to horizontal trusses approx. 3’ - 4’ on center with fasteners, laps are stitched together with ¼’ sheet metal screws. The new R panel roof shall be insulated. The roof shall be cleaned and cleared of all nails and/or staples to provide a clean, smooth surface for new installation. The roof shall be replaced with an R panel metal roofing system. Metal roof shall have a 20 year minimum warranty and a 2 year guarantee against a defective roofing system, including repairing to maintain a watertight condition. Color shall be approved by the COR prior to installation. Contractors shall be licensed for the work specified and shall perform all work. All material removed from the roof shall be hauled to a state approved landfill. All work methods shall be according to local building codes | ||
