| Description | This advertisement is a public notice for MTA Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) intends to enter into a sole source contract with Railware, Inc. to provide firm, fixed delivered pricing for the labor, material and equipment listed therein the solicitation documents. The purpose of this notice is to invite any firm which believes that it can provide a change to the Supervisory System at Jamaica Control Center (JCC) from the Hitachi based Operational Control Centre System (SCADA Software designed by Hitachi) Supervisory System to Railware's Dispatch X as stated, inform the LIRR by letter. If the LIRR is satisfied that a firm is responsible and can supply these labor, materials and equipment, or equivalent, on acceptable terms and conditions, it will consider a competitive procurement.
