Description

The Work the following: 1. Demolition: Removal of all existing boat house and bulkhead items, including but not limited to roof trusses, floor and roof beams, roofing, decking, and guardrails, floating dock gangway, precast cabled boat ramp, and pilings as well as all associated items. Piles may be cut off below scour elevation if it does not interfere with installation of new pilings. 2. Reconstruction: Reconstruction of a boat house and ramp with approximate area of 2000 square feet supported on driven timber pilings. The new boat house shall have aluminum or stainless-steel grating and guardrails and be framed with wood members at the roof and floor structure. The roof shall be comprised of high wind rated asphalt architectural shingles on a plywood deck supported by trusses. In addition, a prefabricated floating dock will be installed adjacent to the pier for visitor access. The precast cabled boat ramp shall also be reinstalled.
