Description

Work includes all work required for removal of existing coating interior and exterior and applying new paint interior and exterior to the 5 Million Gallon Ground Storage Tank along with various tank enhancements and all necessary appurtenances. COMPLETED BID FORMS shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of either a cashier's check or a Bid Bond on the form included or similar form of Surety Company (FACISIMILES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED RESPONSIVE) made payable to The City of North Richland Hills, and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the largest amount bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the required Bonds, within the time-frame indicated in the Bid Form, to the City of North Richland Hills. OFFERERS should carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents; visit the site of the work; fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters that can in any way affect the work or the costs thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies or omissions from the plans, specifications or any other documents or should he/she be in doubt as to the meaning, he/she should at once notify the Purchasing Manager and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid. It is the sole responsibility of the Offeror to register as a planholder with the City of North Richland Hills. Questions pertaining to this project should be submitted via Public Purchase where the bid is advertised. Minimum wage rates to all laborers and mechanics on the project must not be less than as provided in the Contract Documents and Wage Provisions must particularly comply with all other applicable wage laws of the State of Texas. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of North Richland Hills may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to select a bid best suited to the City of North Richland Hills' best interest. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, the City of North Richland Hills reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are opened.
