A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All work shall be constructed under the provisions of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridges Construction prepared by the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois, adopted January 1, 2022 and the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, July 2009, Sixth Edition. The only exception to these standards, are all references to measurement and payment. Bidder's must also complete forms marked with an *. Bidder's subcontractor must provide information for the forms marked with two ** All documents must be submitted with the Bid. The project consists of rehabilitating the existing submersible duplex lift station at the intersection of 42nd Street & Market Avenue, including removal and replacement of lift station pumps, control panel, valves, pressure gauge, guide bars, float switches, lift cables, trash strainer basket, disconnect switches, power & alarm cables, and discharge pipe, together with new fencing, restoration of all disturbed surfaces, and all other incidental work required to complete the project. The federal prevailing wage rate (Davis Bacon Act) shall be paid. Bidders are required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 as amended. Awarded contract will be federally funded in part with a grant by HUD. Not less than (15%) of the total contract amount must be expended with a Minority Business Enterprise.
