Description

Description of Work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to chip seal approximately 2.0 miles of road within Red Cliffs Recreation Area, to include parking areas and pullouts. The contractor shall also repaint all parking areas, speed bumps and handicap accessibility markings Contractor will be responsible for access off the freeway. If equipment and materials cannot be transported through the access tunnel (approximately 11’9” wide and 11’9” tall), a “no access permit” from UDOT may be necessary. The Contractor shall approve work schedules and road closure with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The new road shall follow the same centerline location as the existing surface to incorporate the existing drainage control systems.
