Description

Contractor shall provide all materials and installation of Gold Medal Safety Padding (brand name or equal) on the floor, walls, and the interior side of the door and frame, in three mental health seclusion rooms and one police holding room located: 8-East Room 8A113, 8-North Room 8B118, BF125b, and BF137 (two rooms on 8th floor and two rooms in the basement). Contractor shall provide seclusion rooms with installation of the product on all: Walls Floors Doors (inside room door side & inside door jams) Scope of Work: Contractor is responsible for all material, labor, tools, supervision, and any other items required to fulfill contract. The padding shall be a minimum of 50mm thick, will be fabricated based on measurements in the attached drawings of each room. The padding will be fire retardant and meet UL standards. Cover will be a cleanable, antibacterial, non-porous, and damage resistant. Padding will be installed as to have no openings, no ligature points, and the fastening system will secure to existing wall with the ability to resist being torn from wall. Padding will be virtually indestructible, designed for hospital use, and easily cleaned and disinfected. Padding will be fungus resistant, a non-slip surface, uniform and smooth with no cracks or open seams. Padding will provide maximum safety when applied to floors, walls, and doors, in a manner in which a person in the room cannot hurt themselves.
