Lloyd Road Water Main Replacement

**As of September 22, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $2,328,413.13** The project generally consists of the replacement of approximately 3,700 LF of 12 inch dia. water main with 12 inch dia. cement lined D.I.P. class 52 water main, valves, fire hydrant assemblies, residential service connections and all other associated work as contained in the Bid Documents. Each proposal must be submitted in writing on the proposal pages furnished in the Contract Documents; this entire document must be submitted at the time of bid. Bids must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Township. All bids are to be hand delivered. No bids are to be mailed. Bids must be submitted in writing using the proposal forms furnished in the Bid Documents; this entire document must be submitted at the time of bid. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid, but not more than $20,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certificate of experience and certificate of equipment. It is the responsibility of prospective bidders who obtain specifications online to check the website for any addenda issued prior to the bid opening. Failure to do so could result in the rejection of your submission. No refunds will be made except as provided in N.J.A.C. 40A:11-24b which allows for the return of documents in reasonable conditions within 90 days of notice that the contract has NOT been awarded. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this Contract based on funds available. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Company Bond in the full amount of Contract price indemnifying the Township of Marlboro, New Jersey for all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work. All bid security will be returned to all Bidders except the three apparent lowest Bidders within ten working days after the opening of Bids, and to the three apparent lowest Bidders within three working days after the successful bidder has executed the Contract and its performance security has been approved by the Township. The Township reserves the right, pursuant to applicable law, to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received.
