Temple Freda Phase 2

The scope of work includes the following items: 1. Added support under existing floor joists. 2. Repair approximately 1/3 portion of existing floor support system at east end of the building, including replacement of decayed 2x14 floor joists and bridging. 3. Remove, salvage, and reinstall wood deck and flooring system after floor structure is repaired. 4. Remove existing metal ceiling system in a manner to allow reinstallation in the future, to allow access to the existing roof structure. 5. Perform roof structure zone strengthening. 6. Provide and install 5 new tie rods. 7. Repair masonry arch at the southeast corner of the building above south-facing window. 8. Provide code-required testing and inspection of all structural improvements. 9. Perform historic window and door restoration, including both repair of existing and provision of new to match historical appearance. 10. Remove and replace existing roofing system with a new thermoplastic olefin (TPO) roofing system with rigid roof insulation, including selective replacement of decaying roof decking and new roof decking. 11. Repair to existing metal entry porch roof and metal coping at sheet metal cornice at west end of building. 12. Contingency and testing allowances. 13. Other items as described in the drawings and specifications or as issued by addendum during the RFB process.
