Description

The work of this pipeline relocation involves the installation of approximately 8,660 feet of 8-inch diameter C900 PVC pipe and fittings, along with 21 gate valves and one hydrant within the right-of-way (ROW) of NM 173. The new pipe will be installed at a minimum depth of 3 feet below existing grade, with the pipe deeper in other sections where soil will be removed during road improvements. Upon completion of road improvements, the pipe will have a minimum cover of 4 feet. Also included in this project is the installation of a surge anticipation valve in the existing East Aztec Pump Station. All materials will be provided by the City of Aztec.
