Description | The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part of any bid and to award the bid in a manner that is in the best interests of the City of Naples. Scope- The 1st Avenue South garage is designed as an approximately 365 car parking structure, 3 levels of parking above grade. The primary structural system consists of precast concrete panels and tees on a deep concrete foundation system. Metal screening and wall panels, and metal walkway coverings complete the architectural composition. The design of the garage is complimentary to the structures planned for the Gulfshore Playhouse parcel, the Downtown Naples LLC parcel, and the neighboring Naples Square development, and considers the project and the design's esthetic value as viewed by pedestrians, motorist, and visitors to Gulfshore Playhouse located across the street and its overall fit with the urban character of the D Downtown Zoning District. The design includes bicycle parking, and public drop off and pick up areas, and other transportation elements deemed necessary by the City. Additionally, the public parking garage accommodates up top 8 electric vehicle charging stations and capability to add up to 25 additional electric vehicle spaces. The design considers and provides for how one conveniently and safely enters and exits the garage while minimizing the impact on pedestrian comfort and safety. Location- 1st Avenue S.
