Remedial Action at the Former Middlesex County Administration Building

Scope of work for the Former Middlesex County Administration Building Remedial Action includes the installation of twenty-nine (29) proposed Enhanced In-Situ Bioremediation (EISB) permanent vertical injections wells, approximately 550 linear feet of a permanent horizontal injection well trench with five (5) associated injection well vaults, and six (6) proposed In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) permanent vertical injection wells as per the Contractor's means and methods within the Former Middlesex County Administration Building location. The scope of work under this contract also includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform four (4) injection events within the EISB injection wells and horizontal injection well vaults and two (2) injection events within the ISCO injection wells, as well as the excavation of approximately 1,200 cubic yards and off-site disposal of approximately 1,200 tons of soil/unsuitable fill material. Contractor to backfill excavated area with clean fill pre-approved by the LSRP and must meet NJDEP requirements for clean fill as defined in N.J.A.C 7:26E. County Contractor shall coordinate with outside parties (i.e. redevelopment contractor, property owners, etc.) throughout the duration of the project. Contractor must obtain all necessary permits including but not limited to traffic control.
