Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amounts as follows: General Contract D005660: $25,000.00, Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars & 00/100. Electrical Contract D005661: $2,500.00, Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars & 00/100. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The General Work Contract D005660 or “GC” includes all labor, materials, and equipment as indicated in this project manual including the drawings and specifications. Contract includes hazardous materials abatement, removal of bathroom wings in their entirety including existing slab-on-grade and foundation walls minimum of two-feet below finished grade. Install all site DWV piping, all copper piping and valves, plumbing fixtures and connections, extension of sewer lines and water service lines. Remove and replace selective concrete slabs surrounding the building. Provide a new roof on the existing building including all structural steel wood coverings, and steel fasteners. Removal of interior and exterior walls and partitions. Provide improvements to slab. Provide improvements to existing glu-lams. Work includes furnishing, installing, and removing upon completion of temporary construction security fence and gates around the project work limit. Furnish, install, maintain and remove upon completion of construction all erosion and sediment control facilities as specified herein in accordance with the NYS Erosion and Sediment Control Guidelines and project Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
