Veterans Memorial Field South Softball Field Site Redevelopment

CONTRACT “A” – General Site Construction of south softball field. 1.Site improvement work for the south softball field with work including, but not limited to, mobilization, erosion control, demolition, earthwork, import and place fill, dense graded base, exterior concrete flatwork, storm sewer, infield mix, placing topsoil, seeding, natural turf maintenance, fencing, athletic field equipment, and irrigation system 2. Connect to existing conduit and furnish and install conduit to the owner furnished scoreboard for the south softball field. Install owner furnished scoreboard. Furnish and install power to scoreboard and all connections shown. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR’S bid. C In lieu of “Import and Place Earth Fill” listed in General Site Construction base bid, “Place Earth Fill Provided, Loaded, and Hauled by OWNER.” 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR’S bid. Contract “A, Alternate A-2” – Electrical Conduit Extension 1. From the previous contracts cut off point to the new conduit cut off point, extend all conduit stubs to the future baseball field (NW corner of site) and future concession stand. From the previous contracts conduit cut off point, extend all conduit stubs to the future Musco concrete base locations for the South field. From the previous contracts conduit cut off point, extend all conduit stubs to field receptacles at dugout and backstop locations for the South field. Furnish and install all associated site conduit. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR’S bid. CONTRACT “A, Alternate A-3” – Unscreened Topsoil in Lieu of Screen Topsoil 1. In lieu of screened topsoil, place unscreened topsoil if the salvaged topsoil meets the specifications and is approved by the Owner. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR’S bid.
