Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or to waive any informality, infirmity, omission, defect, irregularity and / or disqualifying error in any bid Questions will be received until 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 Submit Questions to purchasingbids@westliberty.edu 3.1 This RFP may contain mandatory provisions identified by the use of the words "must, will and shall". Failure to comply with a mandatory term in the RFP will result in bid disqualification. 3.2 Vendor will provide pricing for excavation, removal and disposal of existing water lines in areas outlined in the map included in this packet (Appendix 1) replacement of distribution lines and valves, backfill, and restoration of site. 3.2.1 Vendor will install new valves at every connection of the new lines and check existing valves for good working condition. 3.2.2 Vendor will replace failing valves not otherwise being replaced at a cost to be negotiated at the time of discovery. 3.3 Vendor will provide all necessary planning, permits and supervision of work as necessary. 3.4 Vendor will provide all materials and labor necessary to ensure the success of this project. 3.4 Vendor will conduct regular meetings with West Liberty personnel to discuss progress, upcoming work, and issues as determined necessary by the Director of Physical Plant and/or Chief Operations Officer.
