Description | **As of August 16, 2022, project was awarded to JE Dunn Construction but awarded amount is not available.** Questions Due: 07/05/2022 02:00 PM CT VCSU is seeking to hire a construction manager at risk for the VCSU Athletic Complex project. Notice of Intent to Award July 29, 2022 Contract Scope of Work This RFQ summarizes and supplements services in the Contract Documents. Documents are cumulative, and CMaR is required to provide services in the RFQ, their proposal and executed contracts. 5.2. No Guarantee for Construction Contract Award There is no guarantee that the University will award the construction phase contract. The CMaR will not be entitled to recover any unreimbursed costs, anticipated profit, or monetary awards for proposal preparation. 5.3. Collaboration The CMaR shall work in collaboration and cooperation with the University and the Architect towards realizing a high-quality project. The University will use electronic document sharing services to facilitate easy distribution of drawings, documents, RFIs, submittal packages, etc., among the project team members. The University will pay all licensing fees for the service. The CMaR shall participate and use the electronic document sharing service. All costs that may be incurred by CMaR for training its staff and/or for using the system shall be included in CMaR fees. The CMaR shall exercise the highest standards of the industry for Integrated Project Delivery to guide its relationships to the other members of the team. Project Requirements o The project construction budget is approximately 18 million dollars, actual budget may vary (excluding CMaR fees, CMaR construction contingency, design and other associated fees, furniture and equipment, and other "soft" costs). o The project commencement date shall be upon the approval of fundraising goals from the VCSU Foundation Office. o The project completion date will be determined when funds have been raised. o The CMaR is required to be licensed in the State of North Dakota with a "Class A" license and must comply with all requirements listed in ND Century Codes Chapter 43-07. |
