Description

**As of March 28, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.**  SUNY Broome Community College is seeking bids from qualified multiple prime bidders for General Construction The Bidders shall provide, labor, materials, equipment, and associated costs to complete all work necessary on the project. The project includes renovations to all existing toilet rooms at the Student Services building and the Old Science Building. SUNY Broome Student Services & Old Science Toilet Room Renovations Broome County, New York Deposit Required: Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the College and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made payable to the SUNY Broome Community College, Treasurer, shall be considered a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the Contract if it is awarded to him/her. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. Attention of bidders is called to the "Information for Bidders" in the Proposal, Specifications and Contract Agreements. Contract Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the words "SUNY Broome Community College Purchasing Office", the Project Title, and Contract Type, (ref: Supplementary General Conditions - 1.A.), plainly printed on the outside. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Deposit of Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to SUNY Broome Community College, Treasurer, in the amount specified by this advertisement and in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid. The retention and disposal of such Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, by SUNY Broome, shall conform with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. The successful Contractor will be required to execute the Contract and comply, in all respects, with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. CONTRACTOR'S QUALIFICATION STATEMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE PROPOSAL. The Purchasing Office reserves the right to reject any and all Bids offered.
