Description

Plans include two 550,000 square foot production plants as well as an electrical substation, sewage treatment station, testing center, warehouse, and other supporting facilities. Location will be the Big Rapids Airport Industrial Park near Highway 131 and the Grand Rapids Airport. As of March 2023, the project is in the development/public comment phase. No plans have been submitted to the township for approvals to date. Public announcement was made regarding approvals of financial incentives for the project. Green Charter Township Board of Trustees will host a panel discussion April 5, 2023,concerning the project. Architect and General Contractor have not been selected. Construction timeframe is undetermined.
