Description | The Project is generally described as construction of approximately 23 miles of 66 Raw Water Transmission Pipeline extending from the future Lake Ralph Hall under construction near Ladonia, Texas to the pipelines termination at the Balancing Reservoir near Merit, TX and 5 miles of 72 Raw Water Transmission Pipeline from the Balancing Reservoir to the terminus and connection point on the City of Irving Pipeline. The pipeline will be sectioned into four Segments, 20, 40, 50, and 60/70 (as shown in the attached maps) which will all be constructed concurrently. Construction of the Balancing Reservoir and Flow Control Building will also be constructed on this project. The construction of all portions (4 pipeline segments, balancing reservoir, and delivery point) of the Project applicable to this RFQ are scheduled to start in September 2023 and be complete by an estimated date of May 2025. The construction of the Project will be executed under several separate Construction Contracts, under contract with the CMAR. |
