Description

Reshape existing and installing new grass and stone ditches, stone aprons, armored shoulder stone headers on existing drainage culverts, upsize four culverts, remove shoulders berms and a few trees, and re-establish road crown/surface. 12-inch minus angular (not round) stone shall be used for all stone ditches, check dams, culvert headers, stone aprons, and splash pads unless otherwise specified. surface gravel supplied by the town is to be hauled and installed by selected contractor. Waste material to be hauled, dumped, and leveled at designated location in the town gravel pit by the selected contractor. Contractor shall maintain at least 1-lane passage by residents and emergency vehicles on this low volume road throughout the duration of the project.
