Description | We are seeking bids to repair three sections of fencing along Stenmark Drive in Richmond California, also known as Point Molate. Each location will involve replacing post, attachments, and fence fabric. This will be considered as one bid not three separate bids. Site 1 - Bio-swale: Near Bio-swale containment pond North of Quonset storage buildings along Stenmark Drive (location is just North of Point Molate Beach Park). Replace 70 feet of 7ft height (84in) 9-gauge fence fabric. Replace 6 fence post. Straighten 2 fence post which are slightly bent or replace as required. Replace top rail and lower tension wire Match any hardware as close as possible. Remove all demoed material. Contractor responsible for any damages to COR property. Site 2 - Administration Building: North of first site 1 about a quarter mile near military flagpole. On Westside of Stenmark near the military Administration building (Winehaven). Replace 110 feet of 6ft height (72in) 9-guage fence fabric. Replace 9 fence post. Replace top of fence with Barbed wire and holders. Replace tension wire top and bottom. Match any hardware as close as possible. Remove all demoed material. Contractor responsible for any damages to COR property. Site 3 - Gun Range: North of second site about one half mile, on Westside of Stenmark Drive, across road from Police gun range. Replace 120 feet of 7ft (84in), 9-guage fence fabric. Replace 11 fence post. Replace tension wire top and bottom. Match any hardware as close as possible. Remove all demoed material. Contractor responsible for damages to COR property. A mandatory onsite visit with all potential bidders at the same time, to review scope of work and visually see the limitations is required. Bid Requirements: Contractor must have a valid California Contractor's license. Contractor must have a valid City of Richmond Business license. Contractor responsible for meeting City of Richmond contractor's requirements including insurance and prevailing wage guidelines. All work to be coordinated with City of Richmond Parks Maintenance Superintendent or his designee.
